Horologium—Banned in China

The People's Republic of China is one of the more ardent practitioners of state-sponsored website filtering (imagine NetNanny on a national scale). Two professors at harvard have devised a protocol to verify the accessibility of a website from China. A quick check verified that this site is NOT accessible from China. I find that interesting because I have not been particularly critical of China (outside of a few tangential swipes against China, I've not discussed them at all), yet my site is still blocked.

(UPDATE—November18/5:52pm—Andrea Harris, at Spleenville, reports that the test wasn't working correctly. My site *is* viewable in China, after all.

Comments:

Mine was blocked. No surprise there. I don't think they like my occasional anti-commie rants. Commies suck!
