Jacqueline Passey (most recently the Libertarian Party's Secretary of State candidate here in Washington) is also a blogger. Yesterday, she pointed out a post by another libertarian, Richard Shepard, on the costs of a hand recount, and a novel solution to the problem. I'm not going to steal Mr. Shepard's thunder, so follow the link to read his idea. I must admit that the idea does have its appeal...
