Jarred T. Nicholls has begun a thorough history of the Arab-Israeli conflict at his site, [Think About It]. So far, two sections (of a planned five) are up—The Introduction and Part One. It's thorough and well-reasoned, although it carries a (justified) pro-Israel slant (which the author makes clear up front). Check it out.
